What insurance is compulsory when taking out a mortgage?

When taking out a fixed-rate mortgage with imaginBank you have to purchase damage insurance, which in this case means home insurance. This insurance has to cover the property appropriately and can be taken out with any insurer, not necessarily with imaginBank.
