What is the imagin e-Card and what is it used for?

This is a card intended exclusively for the payment of purchases made over the internet. It is a prepaid card, which means it must be topped up with sufficient funds to be able to use it to pay.

Where can I apply for my imagin e-Card?

You can request it through the imagin app. All you need is to be of legal age and an imagin customer.

How much does it cost?

The imagin e-Card has no issuance or maintenance fees. Topping up is subject to a service price of €0.50 per top-up from the third monthly top-up. The first two monthly top-ups will be free of charge.

The following ones cost €0.50 per top-up.

How many imagin e-Cards can I have?

Each customer can have up to two cards.

How do I top up my e-Card?

You can top it up for the first time and subsequently through different channels:

The imagin app.
At any CaixaBank branch.

You can top up using an account or a conventional debit or credit card (Visa Debit, Visa Classic, MasterCard, etc.).

Does the imagin e-Card have any spending limits?

As it is a prepaid card, you can top it up as many times as you want. The spending limit is the balance on your card.

Who can I contact if I have a problem with my imagin e-Card?

If you have any problems with your card, you can call 93 887 25 08 or 900 211 211.

Can I deactivate my imagin e-Card prepaid card?

If you have lost your card details or suspect that someone knows them and may misuse them, you can deactivate it from the imagin app or by calling 93 887 25 08 or 900 211 211.

If you want to get rid of the card and recover the unused balance, you can do so from the imagin app.

What operational limitations does the imagin e-Card have?

As it is a virtual card, it is exclusively for online purchases: It has no physical support, so you will only have the 16 digits that make up the number, plus the expiration date and a secret number to be able to carry out transactions. You can view this data in the imagin app. On the other hand, it is a card that is topped up, which means it is you who sets the limits; to use it to buy you must first have topped it up with money.

What is the card verification code?

The card verification code is a 3-digit number that many online stores request for online purchases together with the card number (16-digit number) and the expiry date. This verification code changes with the automatic renewal of the card.

You can check this current verification code for your imagin e-Card by accessing the “My cards” section, and then “More options”.
