They will become an imagin customer automatically, without having to repeat the registration process.

  • They will control their account and card 100% through the imagin app.

  • The products taken out will continue to be completely free (except for top-ups of pre-paid cards). 

  • They will be able to log into their new app with the same credentials they used for imaginTeens.

FAQs

Absolutely none! The imaginTeens account has no opening or maintenance fees. In addition, these conditions will not change upon reaching the age of 18.  

You need to be a CaixaBank customer to open an imaginTeens account. If you're not a customer yet, you will need to register first before opening the account for your child.  

Online application:
You need to have the minor's DNI (or a clear photo of both sides of the card) and the family book or birth certificate to provide during the process.

Registration at a branch:
The child's presence is not required to process the registration in imaginTeens at a branch. However, two documents do have to be provided:

  • Child's identity document:
    • Aged 12 or 13: Both the DNI and document K (provisional NIF) can be provided if the minor does not yet have a DNI.
    • From 14 years of age: The national ID must be provided.
  • Family book or birth certificate. 

Yes, but you have to realise that in that case, your child will not have access to the imaginTeens app. If you want them to be able to access it, we will need to know their number.  

The relationship required to open an imaginTeens account is to be the minor's legal guardian.  

Yes, you can view and manage all your child's products from the “Manage my children's finances” section of your CaixaBankNow app.  

Your child will be able to view the account you give them access to on imaginTeens. 

Yes, the apps are different. As the legal guardian, you can control all your child's products and transactions from the “Manage my children's finances” section of CaixaBankNow. On the other hand, your child can manage and control their own money from imaginTeens, an app specially created for children with features adapted to their age. 

Absolutely none! The imaginTeens debit card with no issuance or maintenance fees. In addition, these conditions will not change upon reaching the age of 18.  

The imaginTeens debit card is perfect for their day-to-day, here and abroad. Its main advantages include:

Bizum is available to minors 12 and older.  

If your child already has access to their imaginTeens app, they can request Bizum activation from the "Payments" section of the app. You can easily accept their application from your CaixaBankNow app.

If your child does not yet have access to the imaginTeens app, you will need to give them access beforehand. You can do this directly from the “Manage my children's finances” section of your CaixaBankNow app (if you already have an account) or by visiting a CaixaBank branch (if they don't yet have an account).  

There sure is! In fact, the minor has to be the account holder in order to apply for the scholarship or aid.

3. In order for the minor to send and receive money using Bizum: i) both the sender and the recipient must be registered with Bizum (if the recipient is not registered, an SMS will be sent to them to register to receive the money) and (ii) the minor's legal representative must authorise the minor to carry out payment transactions.

4. The offer consists of a €10 payment for each person who signs up as a new imaginTeens customer using the code provided to the minor through the app. In order to receive the incentive, it will be necessary that: (i) the invited person opens an account and (ii) redeems the provided code. The maximum amount payable under this promotion is €50 (equivalent to a maximum of 5 valid referrals). Account offered by CaixaBank, S.A.
