ICO (Official Credit Institute) aid consists of financing facilities sponsored by the Government of Spain to support buying a first property. It is managed through partner banks and financial institutions and offers advantageous conditions, such as low interest rates, long terms and grace periods. 

This aid is mainly aimed at young people under the age of 35, vulnerable families or other groups with difficulties in accessing conventional financing. Although the ICO does not grant the loans directly, it does act as a guarantor and sets the terms for the programme. To apply for it, you have to go to a financial institution which works with the ICO and check the current requirements.
