The Local Youth Card, apart from offering you all the usual advantages of the Catalonia Youth Card, offers you exclusive advantages and discounts in your municipality or region.

You can get the Carnet Jove Local if you belong to one of the following municipalities/regions: Agramunt, Alcarràs, Arenys de Mar, Badalona, Berguedà, Cambrils, Cerdanya, Esplugues de Llobregat, Figueres, Les Garrigues, L’ Hospitalet de Llobregat, La Noguera, La Segarra, Lleida, Manlleu, Manresa, Palamós, Roses, Terra Alta, Tortosa, Valls or Vilafranca del Penedès.

To obtain the Youth Card (registration or renewal), you must go to any CaixaBank branch with your DNI/NIE. Depending on your Autonomous Community, you must pay the corresponding annual fee.

In Catalonia, you can apply for the non-financial card from the age of 12.

Be between 12 and 30 years (both inclusive) to request the non-financial version.
You must request the card at any CaixaBank branch with your national ID or foreign resident ID number, and pay the annual fee of €8.65. Whether you're a Spanish or foreign national, you must go to an issuing branch in your autonomous community, whether you live there permanently or temporarily, but it will be essential to indicate a postal address in the autonomous community, as if not, the management system will not allow the request.

The price of your Youth Card varies according to Autonomous Community. In Catalonia, the Youth Card is priced at €8.65 per year.

The Youth Card in Catalonia lasts for one year. So, each year you will have to pay the fee to renew it and continue to enjoy its advantages.

Now you can renew it in digital format from the imagin app and in just 3 steps. You can also renew it at any CaixaBank branch, with your ID or NIE, and by paying the corresponding annual fee in each Autonomous Community.

You can get your vouchers from your community's Youth Card app or via the Youth Card website .

If you want to use them from your mobile phone, you just need to show the different validation screens in the establishments so that they can approve the "use" of the voucher. Remember that you must be at the ticket offices when you request the voucher from the app so that you can use it correctly.

If you want to use any vouchers from the website, download them in PDF format and print them off so you can show them to the relevant parties.

• Non-financial version (from 12 to 30 years old):
  With this option, you will enjoy all the benefits and discounts of the Carnet Jove.

In all entities in your Autonomous Community that collaborate with the Carné Joven. Collaborating establishments display a sticker informing users that they offer Carnet Joven discounts. In some cases they may not have this sticker, but to make sure, you can always check all the discounts on the website or the app of your Autonomous Community. You can also enjoy the various benefits of the Carné Joven in any Autonomous Community and asmost European countries, with more than 60,000 discounts in different areas.

The Carnet Jove Financial Version (debit or credit) card will no longer be available due to the end of the agreement with the Government of Catalonia. If you already have a Carnet Jove card, you do not need to do anything. We will replace it automatically and at no cost with a new imagin card. If you do not activate the new card when you receive it, you will be able to continue using your Carnet Jove card as usual until you activate it or, at the latest, until 28/02/2027. From 18/11/2026, you will be able to view the new card in the imagin app. If you have a physical card, you will receive it at your home from 07/12/2026 onwards. Once you activate the new card, your Carnet Jove card will be automatically cancelled. Remember to update the new card in your subscriptions and mobile payment services to continue using them normally.

Due to the end of the agreement with the Government of Catalonia on 31/12/2026, from 07/09/2026 it is no longer possible to get new Carnet Jove Financial Version (debit or credit) cards in any of their forms: debit, credit or prepaid. If you only wish to have the non-financial Carnet Jove, you can get it until 30/11/2026 through the channels provided by the Government of Catalonia.

The travel insurance associated with the Carnet Jove will remain available until 31/12/2026. Carnet Jove discounts and benefits will continue to be available through the Carnet Jove CAT app, managed by the Government of Catalonia. The new imagin card you receive will have no fees or maintenance charges.

You will be able to continue using your Carnet Jove card with mobile payment services until 28/02/2027. To continue paying with your mobile after that date, you will need to link your new imagin card. You will be able to do so from 18/11/2026 and you will receive the necessary instructions through the app.
